The Pakistan Super League (PSL) has suffered another setback after former England cricketer Nick Knight opted to join the commentary panel of the Indian Premier League (IPL), despite initially being named in the PSL broadcast team.

Knight was originally announced as part of the PSL commentary lineup, which features several former international stars, including Carlos Brathwaite, Lisa Sthalekar, JP Duminy, Dominic Cork, Mark Butcher, Martin Guptill, Greg Blewett, and Athar Ali Khan. The panel also includes prominent former Pakistan cricketers such as Wasim Akram, Ramiz Raja, Aamer Sohail, Urooj Mumtaz, and Bazid Khan.

However, on March 27, Star Sports unveiled its official IPL commentary panel, which includes Knight—signalling his decision to switch to the Indian tournament.

The IPL commentary lineup also features prominent voices such as Ian Bishop, Ravi Shastri, Harsha Bhogle, Daren Ganga, Danny Morrison, among others.

The PSL is currently ongoing.
