Kabbadi champion Rohit Chillar arrested over wife's suicide

New Delhi, Oct 21 (IBNS) : National Kabbadi champion Rohit Chillar has been arrested in Mumbai days after his wife hanged herself at her Delhi home, reports said.

Lalita  hanged herself, leaving an audio message and a note that made allegation of dowry harassment against her in-laws and husband.

"I'm not strong enough to survive this, I have decided to quit," she said in the message.

Chillar  has been charged with abetment to suicide.

His father Vijay Singh had surrendered earlier.
