Paris, May 29 (IBNS): Indian Tennis star Rohan Bopanna and his doubles partner Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi were knock out of the French Open as they suffered defeat at the hands of Israeli-Brazilian pair of Jonathan Erlich and Marcelo Melo in the second round clash here on Thursday.

Bopanna and Qureshi were defeated by the opponent by  3-6, 4-6 margin.

The Indo- Pakistan duo has so far failed to shine in the two major grand slams of the year so far.

They could not progress beyond the third round in the Australian Open earlier this year.
