Dhoni ends suspense on IPL retirement, says he has 4-5 months to decide

Former Indian captain and CSK cricketer MS Dhoni ended all speculations about his future in the Indian Premier League and said he has four to five months' time to decide whether he will appear in the next edition of the cash-rich tournament.

Dhoni was quoted ESPN Cricinfo: "It depends. Again, I would say the same thing: I have four-five months to decide, there's no hurry to decide what needs to be done."

Dhoni made the comment after CSK's last league match against Gujarat Titans in the ongoing edition of the tournament in Ahmedabad.

CSK's last show in the tournament remained memorable with the visitors winning the match by 83 runs against Gujarat Titans.

CSK remained at the bottom of the 10-team table after the completion of 14 matches.

Dhoni will turn 44 in July.

Dhoni took charge of the team after regular skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad missed he tournament due to injury midway through the series.
