CSK beat SRH by 8 wickets in IPL match

Pune, May 13 (IBNS): Chennai Super Kings defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by eight wickets in an IPL match here on Sunday.

SRH posted 179 runs for the loss of four wickets and then CSK reached 180 runs by losing two wickets in 19 overs.

Shane Watson (57) and  Ambati Rayudu (100) made a strong opening partnership for CSK as they posted 134 runs in the first wicket partnership that nearly dislodged SRH from the match.

Ambati was superior with his form and smashed seven boundaries and seven sixes in his knock.

He played 62 balls in the innings.

Watson gave him strong company at the other end of the crease as he hit five boundaries and three sixes in the knock.

MS Dhoni played a sizzling knock of 14-ball 20 at the end which ensured a six ball victory to his team.

Dhoni hit a boundary and six in his knock.

Shikhar Dhawan (79) and Kane Williamson (51) earlier added some runs with their willows as they posted 179 runs on the scorecard.
