Los Angeles, Sept 17 (IBNS): Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise is likely to feature thriller Mission Impossible 6, media reports said.

After contentious dealmaking halted preproduction on Mission: Impossible 6, earlier this summer, Tom Cruise is on the verge of closing his deal to return to the Paramount action-thriller franchise, The Hollywood Reporter reported.

Sources  told The Hollywood Reporter that issues have been resolved and M:I6 is being restarted.

Spring 2017 will be the new start time for the movie whose five previous released films earned appreciations from movie lovers.

Mission: Impossible is a series of action spy thriller films based on the television series of the same name, produced by and starring Tom Cruise as IMF agent Ethan Hunt.

The first movie in the series Mission: Impossible was released in 1996.
