Shabana-Javed-Baba will be seen together for the first time in Chalk N Duster

Mumbai, July 6 (IBNS) For the first time, Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi and her brother Baba Azmi will be seen working together. Director Jayant Gilatar was the catalyst in bringing them together. This comes as an excellent piece of news for all the movie enthusiasts, who can`t get enough of the trio. They will be seen in the upcoming movie Chalk n Duster.

According to the sources, the trio will be joining hands for makeup man-cum-producer Subhash`s upcoming movie based on teachers. 

 
Shabana Azmi was moved by the novel concept, storyline of the movie and the deep underlying message, and wasted no time taking it up. Baba Azmi who has been credited for a lot of movies was very happy with the story and the screenplay, but what tempted him the most was, the chance to capture his sister doing what she does best.

Javed Akhtar has penned some beautiful songs for the coming of age movie, that deals with the life of teachers.

The movie also stars actresses Juhi Chawla, Divya Dutta, Zarina Wahab in major roles along with Girish Karnad, Jackie Shroff, Sameer Soni and Arya Babbar in pivotal roles. The movie is about teachers, the education system and the commercialization of the system in the country, and focuses on the plight of teachers.

Chalk n Duster is directed by Jayant Gilatar and written by Ranjeev - Neetu. The lyrics are penned by Javed Akhtar and the music is being composed by Sandesh Shandilya

The movie is Produced by Subhash Singh and Amin Surani and is set to hit the marquee on4th September 2015, on Teachers Day.
