Los Angeles/IBNS: Canadian-born actress Catherine O’Hara, beloved for her Emmy-winning role as Moira Rose in Schitt’s Creek and iconic performances in films like Home Alone and Beetlejuice, has died at the age of 71 following a brief illness, her manager and agency confirmed, media reports said.

O'Hara, who is also popular for her role in Home Alone, died at her home in Los Angeles on Friday, BBC reported quoting her agent.

She had very recently featured in Emmy Award winning comedy show The Studio and HBO's The Last of Us.
