Bollywood superstar Salman Khan treated fans to a special 60th birthday gift — the teaser of his upcoming movie ‘Battle of Galwan’, set to release next year.

The film is based on the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between India and China, a tense episode that heightened tensions between the two nations. The teaser pays rich tributes to Indian soldiers who guard the country year-round.

Salman Khan will be seen in one of the most dynamic roles of his career, portraying an Indian soldier ready to face challenging opposition forces during the conflict. The teaser offers glimpses of high-altitude warfare and intense military action.

Sharing the teaser on X, Salman wrote: "#BattleofGalwan Teaser Out Now!"

Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the movie is slated for release on April 17, 2026.

Meanwhile, trade analyst Taran Adarsh noted that the release of Alia Bhatt’s spy thriller ‘Alpha’ has been postponed to avoid a clash with Salman Khan’s film.

Adarsh tweeted: "#YRF had locked 17 April 2026 for #Alpha, but the makers will announce a new release date after reviewing the theatrical calendar in the coming months."
