Mumbai, Jan 28 (IBNS) Filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra has extensively shot his film Mirziya in varied locations in Rajasthan.

Mirziya is the director's first ever love story. He did an extensive recce for the film and wanted to shoot the film in a place which can lend itself to the script.

They scouted for locations and locked on many unexplored destinations in Rajasthan.

It was a 2.5 month long shooting schedule shot in various cities in Rajasthan.

It was long schedule where the entire team had been shooting 14-16 hrs each day.

The place, the weather, the costumes are all part of Rakeysh's story telling.

Rakeysh has a unique way of rendering the script.

Inspite of the being extremely arduous, the shoot has also turned out to be very productive.
