Los Angeles, Feb 27 (IBNS): The Oscar witnessed a bizarre moment when Warren Beatty announced the wrong name in the Best Picture category before correcting the mistake.

It was a dramatic moment on stage when 'La La Land' was named the best picture of the night.

Soon the mistake was understood and Moonlight was then named the best movie of the year.

The film stars Trevante Rhodes, André Holland, Janelle Monáe, Ashton Sanders, Naomie Harris, and Mahershala Ali.

Meanwhile, following the announcement of the wrong winner, the issue is making a buzz in the social networks with even Twitter users reacting to the unusual event.
