'Mata ka bulava' on hold for Mahaakshay, Evelyn

Mumbai, May 12 (IBNS): It's not often that we hear of films starting their promotional rounds with non conventional, non commercial centers.

City tours are largely always about entertaining the money centers and the exhibition there. However, for producer Rajesh Banga and the team of ‘Ishqedarriyaan’, the idea was slightly different.

With the belief that ‘Ishqedarriyaan’ was not just a story of love in its purest form but was also a labor of love of the entire team and seeing a project like this take shape and be up for release did deem being shared first with the almighty who made it possible.

Hence, Banga and Mahaakshay who are major followers of Mata Vaishno Devi decided to start their extensive promotional tour from Vaishno Devi itself.

However, owing to the unfortunate earthquake catastrophe in Nepal and restrictions put on the North belt travel, Banga and the team had to change their plans entirely.

"For me, this film is very close to my heart and it reminds me and people of a simpler time, of a more selfless idea of love. The ultimate expression of selfless love cones from God so what better way to start our films journey than by taking the film team to get blessings of Mata Vaishno Devi. However, now since we can't, owing to the Nepal tragedy, we've had to change our plans. Let's see maybe we will go take Mata rani's blessings post May 15 after the film releases," said producer Rajesh Banga.

‘Ishqedarriyaan’ is a romantic film directed by V. K. Prakash, presented by Chariot Films & Metro Studios LLC (Georgia) & produced by Rajesh Banga.

The film is set to release on May 15.
