Makers unveil trailer of Indrasis Acharya's Goodbye Mountain starring Rituparna Sengupta

Kolkata/IBNS: After Sharmila Tagore starrer Puratawn, the on-screen duo Rituparna Sengupta and Indraneil Sengupta are yet again paired in Indrasis Acharya’s upcoming romantic film Goodbye Mountain.

The trailer was unveiled on Friday.

Speaking at the trailer launch, Rituparna said, “From the day I heard about this film, I was eager to be a part of it. As the film denotes a sense of love and unrequited love, it is devised to celebrate love immensely.”

The film revolves around two souls long lost lovers, who have reunited after 22 years. Eventually they find themselves in a familiar rhythm as if they're never separated.

Director Indrasis Acharya said, “The film signifies that every goodbye is not a sad goodbye. I have celebrated the sense of goodbye here and this film has a melancholic essence and I promise that the audience will get a ton of emotions from it.”

As the story gradually unfolds, the man is discovered as terminally ill and the couple is found living in a tranquil mountain bungalow. Their quality days were numbered as the husband of the woman arrived creating a disruption between the couple.

Actor Indraneil Sengupta said, “I worked with Indrasis for the first time. I had a great experience shooting this film. I actually liked the storyline of this film and it is a completely different one from any other film, so I hope people will love it.”

Apart from the lead cast, the film also includes Anirban Bhattacharjee, Aryuun Ghosh, Jayashree Mimi Adhikary among others.

The music has been done by Ranajoy Bhattacharjee. The film hits the big screens on July 25.
