LED Dandiya sticks wows participants in Buzzutsav 2015

Kolkata, Nov 6 (IBNS) All the dandiya enthusiasts across the city got back into the dancing mode as the second edition of 'Buzzutsav', a Navratri Dandiya night took place recently in Kolkata this year.

The event, organized by Buzz365 Entertainment saw a massive footfalls as people gathered in numbers with their friends and families to capture the festive mood of Navratri. The specialty of Buzzutsav’2015 was its unique LED Dandiya Sticks which added more colors to the Neon Theme and decor of this event. 

Notably, popular television celebrities joined the crowd and added glitter to the celebration. 

The primary attraction of this year were its celebrity participants who were Shakti Arora, Karan Mehra, Parth Samthaan, Karan Tacker and Krystle D'Souza. The foot-tapping music was played by DJ Harish Lakhmani. The event was anchored by Emcee Anneysha Ghosh & RJ Praveen, a live Gujarati Orchestra Troupe by Sangeeta Sanghvi and Troupe catered to the music lovers. 

Tushar Saraff, Owner of Buzz365 Entertainments, said, “It felt amazing and special to organize such an event for the happening crowd of Kolkata. I would love to organize events like this every year too. It felt great having Shakti Arora, Karan Mehra, Parth Samthaan, Karan Tacker, Krystle D'Souza amongst us. People of Kolkata were soaked in the festive spirit on these three days as they gathered to celebrate and had a gala time at our garba and dandiya event. Like every year, revellers were high on dandiya, as they danced to the garba beats till wee hours.”

The public really felt that this place was perfect for a family Navratri Celebration to give them the perfect family time. The three-day event saw people dressed in ethnic wear, grooving to the beats of filmy garba songs and the crowd went crazy with their favorite celebs live in front of them. It was like a dream cum true for many of the fans to shake a leg with them.”

Dandiya Raas is the most popular dance of not only Gujarat but also all the states throughout India. It is a special feature of the Navratri festival. Dandia is a dance form usually performed in a group, by both men and women. The special feature of the Dandiya dance is the colorful attire worn by the dancers and the colorful sticks carried by them. The wooden sticks are used as prop and are beautifully decorated. It is for this reason this dance is also called the 'Stick Dance'. 

The sticks are made of bamboo which is painted in different colors to make them look attractive. The performers hold sticks in both their hands and strike them together on the beats of the musical instruments. Dandiya Raas involves a huge number of people at a time. 

According to the dance setting, two circles are formed by the dancers. There were special and attractive prizes for the winners also with categories like Best Dressed, Best Dancer, Best Energetic performer and many others.
