Jason Momoa urges people not to visit wildfires-hit Maui for vacation at present

Hollywood actor Jason Momoa, who is a Hawaii native, continued to react to the devastating wildfire tragedy in Maui and asked people not to visit the region for a vacation in the present situation of crisis.

Momoa made the latest Instagram post as the region continued to struggle to recover from wildfires.

"Maui is not the place to have your vacation right now," the actor wrote on Instagram.

He further said: " DO NOT TRAVEL TO MAUI."

Onscreen Aquaman said: " Do not convince yourself that your presence is needed on an island that is suffering this deeply.Mahalo to everyone who has donated and shown aloha to the community in this time of need."

More than 90 people have died on the Hawaiian island which witnessed a devastating wildfire outbreak.

The wildfires even destroyed Lahaina town.

In another post on Instagram, Momoa asked people to help residents of the island.

Local officials have even asked people to cancel non-essential trips to Maui at present.

This is one of the deadliest wildfires the US is witnessing since the 2018 Camp Fire in California that left 85 people dead.
