Mumbai, Oct 18 (IBNS): There has been tremendous buzz regarding Tom Hanks and Irrfan Khan starrer Inferno.

Given Irrfan's significant role in the film, the film saw some unusual marketing ideas for the Indian markets.

A 40x40 size billboard in the most prime location in Mumbai with 3 leading multiplexes in the vicinity was taken over for a day with the Special animation, imagery and trailer of the film.

This is the first time ever that a marketing innovation of this kind has been done for a movie in india.

Directed by Ron Howard, the film's cast include Tom Hanks, Irrfan and Felicity Jones.

Hanks is also reprising his role as Robert Langdon.

It was initially released in Brazil on Oct 12.
