The health condition of Hollywood actor Bruce Willis, who is best remembered for his performance in several Box Office rockers, has deteriorated.

According to reports, Willis, who is suffering from frontotemporal dementia, is unable to speak, read, or even walk.

The update on his health condition was revealed three years after he stepped away from acting following a diagnosis of aphasia in 2022.

Bruce, 70, is said to have become largely non-verbal and is reportedly experiencing motor difficulties, though no specific details about his mobility have been confirmed by his family in recent months, reported Daily Express.

What is Frontotemporal dementia?

As per Mayo Clinic website, Frontotemporal dementia (FTD) is an umbrella term for a group of brain diseases that mainly affect the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain.

These areas of the brain are associated with personality, behaviour and language, reads the website.

Bruce Willis, who is now retired from the world of acting, gained fame with a leading role on the comedy-drama series Moonlighting (1985–1989) and has appeared in over one hundred films, gaining recognition as an action hero for his portrayal of John McClane in the Die Hard franchise (1988–2013).
