'Friend, philosopher and guide', Neetu Kapoor wishes son Ranbir on birthday; Alia joins celebrations

Mumbai, Sept 28 (IBNS): Actor Ranbir Kapoor turned 36 on Friday and his mother Neetu Kapoor came out with a beautiful message on social media on the occasion his son's birthday.

In a picture, which also features actress Alia Bhatt as a surprise package, Neetu called Ranbir a friend, philosopher and guide.

The exact caption reads, "Happy 🎂 to my Friend Philosopher an Guide ❤️ loads of love and duas ❤️ #lovehim #bestintheworld #wisehappy birthday @rimosky ❤️😘"

Alia, who is a rumoured girlfriend of Ranbir, was present along with her mother Soni Razdan at the birthday celebrations of the actor.

Ranbir, a son of veteran actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, made his Bollywood entry in 2007 with Saawariya.

He quickly rose to fame with film Bachna Ae Haseeno, which released in 2008, starring opposite his now ex-girl friend and actress Deepika Padukone.

Apart from Bachna Ae Haseeno, some of Ranbir's popular films include Raajneeti, Wake Up Sid, Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani, Rockstar, Barfi, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Sanju.
