Filmmaker Garry Marshall passes away, Hollywood mourns

Los Angeles, July 20 (IBNS): Leaving his creations behind, filmmaker Garry Marshall has breathed his last at a hospital in California on Tuesday.

He was 81.

He was known for making films like 'Pretty Woman' and 'Runaway Bride'.

Meanwhile, celebrities mourned the death of the filmmaker as they posted their remark on numerous social networking sites.

Actor Henry Winkler tweeted: "Larger than life, funnier than most , wise and the definition of friend."

Actor Steve Carell posted: "Garry Marshall. Lovely man."

Actor Zach Braff said: "God I loved this Man. #GarryMarshall."

Actor  Lea Michele said the Garry Marshall will be missed.

"So sad to hear about the passing of the incredible Garry Marshall.. You will be missed," she said.
