Daytime Emmy-winning actor Billy Miller, who was suffering from manic depression, dies at 43

Daytime Emmy-winning actor Billy Miller, who was reportedly suffering from manic depression, has died in the US city of Austin.

He was 43.

Miller’s manager confirmed the news to Variety in a statement on Sunday, which would’ve marked the actor’s 44th birthday.

“The actor was struggling with manic depression when he died,” the statement reads.

He was recognized for his work on American soap operas, including his award-winning work as Billy Abbott on The Young and the Restless and his dual portrayals of Jason Morgan and Drew Cain on General Hospital.
