Anupam Kher turns 61

Mumbai, Mar 7 (IBNS): Bollywood actor Anupam Kher on Monday turned 61.

Kher, who is known for his versatile acting, shared a picture with his mother on Twitter where the actor is seen celebrating the special day with her.

Along with the picture, the actor tweeted: "When a mother wishes her son "WohorWod Mubarak" (Happy Birthday in Kashmiri), 'years' have nothing to do with it.:)."

He also tweeted: "Happy Maha-Shivratri to all of YOU and Happy Birthday to ME.:) #JaiHo."

Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor wished Kher and tweeted: "When Shimla met Chembur, a great friendship began! Happy Birthday @AnupamPkher My partner in style hehehe."

Actor Akshay Kumar said: "Happy birthday to @AnupamPkher ji and happy #Mahashivratri to you all! Remember feed someone instead of wasting milk today. #JaiHo :-)"

Kher is best known for his performance in films like 'Tezaab', 'Parinda', 'Chandni', 'Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin', 'Darr', 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge', among others.
