Amitabh Bachchan, Kangna Ranaut win national awards

Mumbai, Mar 28 (IBNS) Amitabh Bachchan has won this year's national award for best actor for Piku, while Kangana Ranaut is best actress for 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns.'

As announcements for the 63rd National Film Awards were made on Monday, S S Rajamouli's 'Baahubali' got this  year's Best Film ward, while Sanjay Leela Bhansali  won Best Director for 'Bajirao Mastani'.

Kangana Ranaut has scored her third National Award for Tanu Weds Manu Returns.

Kangana, 29, won the Best Actress National Award last year for Queen and the Best Supporting Award for Fashion in 2009. Tanu Weds Manu Returns, co-starring R Madhavan, was 2016's first 100 crore hit.

This is  73-year-old  Bachchan's fourth win after Agneepath, Black and Paa.
