AGP stages 'Get Rid of My Wife' in Thane

Mumbai, May 27 (IBNS): Ashvin Gidwani Productions (AGP) recently staged a humorous play ‘Get Rid of My Wife’ in Thane.

The play was written and directed by well-known theatre personality Paritosh Painter.

AGP noted that the show in Thane on May 17, received much appraisal from its audience for its script and performances.

Talking about the show writer-director, Paritosh Painter said, “I am delighted to present the show for the first time in Thane. I feel elated about the fact that the audience have liked the play so much."

Painter said, "It has been a learning experience for me to work with such great actors and I am looking forward to amuse theatre lovers with more wit and humour."

‘Get Rid of My Wife’ is about three friends Shree, Adi and Manav, who live together with their handicaps (one is blind, one is deaf and one is mute) and creditors like Mario, a goon who is hired to recover their debts.

After realizing that the three do not have the capacity to repay, Mario offers them a job to kidnap a rich industrialists’ wife.

That’s when the roller coaster ride of comedy and laughter begins, which is sure to keep the audience in splits.

The cast comprises of Nasir Khan, Balvinder Singh Suri, Jayesh Thakkar and Paritosh Painter.
