Actor Ankur Rathee set for back-to-back releases in December with Single Papa and Four More Shots Please! Season 4
Mumbai/IBNS: After a phenomenal year of shooting major projects, actor Ankur Rathee is set to end 2025 with a bang, treating fans to back-to-back releases of two highly anticipated series on different streaming platforms this December.
Rathee will showcase his range from heartwarming comedy to intense drama.
Fans can first catch Rathee in the new Netflix family comedy, Single Papa, premiering globally on December 12. The show promises a feel-good, entertaining experience that is set to resonate with family audiences.
Just one week later, Rathee returns as the pivotal character Arjun Nair in the much-awaited Season 4 finale of the International Emmy-nominated series Four More Shots Please!, streaming on Prime Video from December 19.
The final season promises an emotional journey, offering a stark contrast to his light-hearted role in Single Papa. Rathee also has Undekhi Season 4 lined up for release in early 2026.
Both Four More Shots Please! and Undekhi have achieved the rare feat of completing four seasons, marking a significant milestone in Indian OTT history.
Reflecting on his journey and the simultaneous releases, Ankur Rathee shared: "It’s been an incredible year for my career. Actors sometimes go months, even years, unemployed, and then suddenly God showers you with endless opportunity. This was the year of 'surrender' for me, where I kept repeating, 'Karmanye Vadhikaraste Ma Phaleshu Kadachana.'
"I used to think hard work was everything, but the truth is I am nothing without the grace of God. The experience truly humbled me, and I’m so grateful to have worked as much as I did this year. It’s a blessing to be a working actor."
As December unfolds, audiences eagerly await Rathee’s performances in two contrasting roles, promising a rewarding viewing experience for fans across platforms.
