73rd Golden Globes Awards: Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence win big honours

California, Jan 11 (IBNS) The Golden Globes is the second most prestigious award in Hollywood after the Oscars (Academy Award). The 73rd edition took place on Sunday and as always provided excitement and fun.

For long, fans and critics were rooting for DiCaprio to take home top honours and the inevitable happened as he received the Best performance by an actor in a motion picture, drama award for The Revenant.

Other big winners were Jennifer Lawrence for Joy in the Best performance by an actress in a motion picture, musical or comedy category.

Matt Damon also won an award for his role in The Martian.
