UP: Two injured in train-tractor in Ayodhya

Ayodhya, Jun 1(UNI) Train services on the Lucknow-Ayodhya rail route was disrupted on Saturday morning when a superfast train collided with a tractor-trolley at a railway crossing under Cantonment police station in the city.

Police said here that the accident occurred when Jalianwala Bagh super fast train collided with a tractor-trolley at Salarpur railway crossing.

Two people, who were travelling on the tractor trolley, were injured while one escaped unhurt.

Prima facie, it appeared to be the fault of the gateman, who forget to close the crossing when the train was given green signal.

Following the accident, the train services on the route was disrupted for a couple of hours.
