Agartala, Jun 14 (UNI) The BJP Mahila Morcha (women wing) workers posted 10,000 postcards scripting ‘Jai Sree Ram’ to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at Agartala head post office today protesting her statement against Hinduism.

Mahila Morcha state chief Papia Datta said that most indecently Mamata Banerjee showed her intolerance to Hindu belief and the chanting of Jai Sree Ram recently, which implicated her utter disrespect to a particular religion.

“Our central leadership has decided to send her at least 10 lakh post card writing Jai Sree Ram from across the country to West Bengal Chief Minister to make her understand how she hit the sentiment of female folk of the country and it’s the reminder for her introspection,” Papia said.

She further added that BJP never do politics based on caste, religion and belief rather persuade inclusive development of the country as a whole. The party is also believe in tolerance and respect to all other sentiments and political thoughts as per Indian tradition. But Mamata Banerjee forgot it.

“Mamata didi doesn’t want to chant Jai Sree Ram it is her choice but reacting or stopping others who chant the holy words is completely undesirable and uncalled from an elected Chief Minister of a state,” she added.
