Three militants killed, one jawan martyred as the Army foil infiltration in Kashmir
Srinagar, June 8 (IBNS) : A soldier lost his life while three militants were killed as the Indian Army foiled an infiltration attempt in the Naugam sector of Jammu and Kashmir early on Thursday, officials said.
According to reports, a group of militants tried to infiltrate into the sector along the Line of Control (LoC) resulting in an encounter with the security forces in which two jawans got injured and three militants were killed.
Both jawans were shifted to a near army hospital where one of them succumbed to his injuries.
