Three men planning to join Islamic State apprehended form Nagpur Airport

Mumbai, Dec 26 (IBNS) The Anti Terrorism Squad (ATS) nabbed three youths planning to join the Islamic State,a global religious fringe outfit, from the Nagpur Airport, according to media reports.

Reports have stated that these three detainees are residents of Telangana and have been handed over to the Telangana ATS.

According to the ATS at least 23 Indians are believed to have vowed pledge to the ISIS.

Earlier this year, 2 IM members fled the country and joined the fringe group.

A similar route was almost taken by a 16-year old Pune girl before she was nabbed by the police.
