Sonia Gandhi to visit Kashmir to pay homage to Mufti Mohammad Sayeed

Srinagar, Jan 9 (IBNS) Congress President Sonia Gandhi will arrive in the Kashmir valley on Sunday to pay her homage to late Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed who passed away in New Delhi on Thursday.

A senior congress leader told IBNS: "We received verbal information about the visit of Sonia to Kashmir were she will per her homage to late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed."

He further said Gandhi will visit the official Fairview residence of Mufti in Srinagar to offer her condolences.
