Rahul Gandhi attacks govt over increasing unemployment, farmers movement

| @indiablooms | Dec 29, 2020, at 10:42 pm

New Delhi/UNI: Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday attacked the government over increasing unemployment and the farmers' agitation going on for over a month saying that PM Modi-led ruling dispensation is not concerned about the farmer, poor, commoners but has concerns for its crony capitalist friends.

Taking to Twitter this morning, Gandhi said, "Youth being battered by unemployment, commoners under distress of inflation, farmers under attack by the new farm laws .. this is Modi government."

Along with his tweet, Gandhi shared a news report wherein as per the CMI survey 35 lakh people lost their jobs during the month of November.

The employment reduced in the country and unemployment is touching new heights.

Meanwhile, farmer protest entered day 34 on Tuesday with farmers standing their ground at the Delhi borders with their demands unshaken.

Meanwhile, more farmers from UP have joined at the Ghazipur Border in support of their counterparts intensifying the movement.

On Monday, the Agriculture Secretary requested the farmers' organisations to participate in the talks with the panel of Union Ministers on December 30 at 1400 hrs in Vigyan Bhawan.

This will be the sixth round of talks , while farmers unions have held five rounds of talks with the government and also attended a meeting convened by Union Home Minister Amit Shah earlier ,but, they have so far been inconclusive.
