Priyanka Gandhi strafes Modi on radar remark

| @indiablooms | May 13, 2019, at 10:57 pm

Indore, MP, May 13 (UNI): Employing sarcasm as a political weapon in the context of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent technology-related comment, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra quipped on Monday that the Premier’s “understanding of radar” resulted in the populace comprehending the truth regarding him.

“You must have heard how Mr Modi was saying that cloud cover helped prevent Indian Air Force planes from being detected by Pakistani radar during the surgical strike. Barring him, everyone knows that clouds cannot be a factor in evading radar,” the visiting politician averred while addressing the public from a chariot-like vehicle after her roadshow concluded in Madhya Pradesh’s commercial capital.

Has the Prime Minister converted Indore into a smart city, she asked, adding that the electorate must become aware and not be deceived by television advertisements.

“While delivering addresses on the campaign trail, Mr Modi is not speaking of his failures such as demonetisation and the Goods and Services Tax; he solely vocalises on nationalism. Aware electors posing questions to leaders shall be the highest form of patriotism."

"The Centre floundered on issues such as employment, agriculture and indigence,” she alleged.
