Prince William and Kate Middleton to visit India next year
The Kensington Palace tweeted: "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will visit #India in the spring of 2016, at the request of HM's Government."
The Royal couple will visit India for the first time.
"It will be the first time The Duke and Duchess have visited the country. Further #RoyalVisitIndia details will be announced early next year!" read another tweet.
Indian PM Narendra Modi is currently visiting the UK.
He lunched with the British Queen Elizabeth on Friday.
