Prez Mukherjee greets the nation on Ram Navami, urges people to follow highest ethical values

New Delhi, Apr 15 (IBNS) President Pranab Mukherjee on Friday, greeted the people of India on the occasion of Ram Navami, urging them to follow the highest ethical values.

Greeting the nation on Twitter, the President wrote: "Greetings and best wishes to all fellow citizens on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami."

"Lord Rama was an embodiment of the divine on Earth; he taught us how to live our lives in accordance with dharma," President Mukherjee said.

Urging people to take inspiration from Lord Rama's life, he said, "May the example of Lord Rama inspire us to follow his footsteps and strive for nobility in thought, word and deed."

"Let us on this day resolve to follow at all times in our lives the highest moral and ethical values," he said.
