Darbhanga, Dec 28 (IBNS) Bihar Special Task Force (STF) on Monday arrested a man in association with the murder of two engineers on Saturday, according to media reports.

The engineers, prior to their murder, received ransom calls and upon informing the construction company they were provided with police security.

Brajesh Kumar and Mukesh Kumar, while supervising a road construction at Darbhanga-Kusheshwarsthan highway were killed by two motorcyclists who attacked the men and rode away, while there was no sign of police patrol. The victims were declared dead by hospital authorities upon their arrival.

This led to the sacking of a police officer and the case being handed to State STF.

Post the incident, JD (U) spokesperson Ajay Alok was quoted by NDTV as saying, "Those who are responsible for this will not be spared. They will be caught and will be put behind the bars. Compromise will not be done. Law and order is our speciality."
