New Delhi: Two flights delayed following bomb scare

New Delhi, Jan 27 (IBNS) Two flights, which were heading from Delhi to Nepal capital Kathmandu, have been delayed after an anonymous phone call warned authorities that both the flights had bombs.

The Delhi Police confirmed that Jet Airways flight 9w260 and Air India flight AI 215 were delayed following the threat call.

"Dep of AI 215 & 9W 260 to Kathmandu delayed due to bomb threat call received," the Delhi Police tweeted.

Air India said flight will depart only after receiving 'clearances'.

"#AIUpdate: Flt #AI215 DEL-KTM has been taken to the bay area. Pax have been deboarded & taken to terminal bldg. (1/2)," Air India tweeted.

"Security personnel are screening baggage. Flt will depart on receipt of clearances. (2/2)," it said.
