| @indiablooms | Feb 17, 2021, at 12:29 am

Mumbai/UNI: Following the rise in COVID-19 cases in Mumbai, Mayor Kishori Pednekar on Tuesday warned of another lockdown in the city.

She said that it has been observed that after taking all the precautions, the COVID-19 cases are increasing rapidly in the city while the death rate is also slowly rising.

"If this trend continues, then we will have no other option but to impose another lockdown," Pednekar further said.

She also added that people are travelling in local train without mask and they are not following the guidelines now.

It is in the hands of people how to take preventive measure or face another lockdown, she said.
