Mohammad Shami rubbishes claims of having extramarital affairs, calls it 'conspiracy'
Kolkata, Mar 7 (IBNS): Indian pace bowler Mohammad Shami has rubbished all allegations brought against him by his wife Hasin Jahan of having extramarital affairs, calling it a "conspiracy".
Reacting to his wife's allegations, Shami took to Twitter to say that all news about his personal life that have been going on since Tuesday are "lies".
He tweeted, "Hi I'm Mohammad Shami. All those news are going on about my personal life are all lies. It is a conspiracy against me to defame me and affect my performance on field."
Posting several screenshots of Facebook Messenger and Whatsapp messages on her Facebook wall, Jahan claimed that Shami is having several extra-marital affairs simultaneously.
Confirming the news, Hasin Jahan's counsel Md. Zakir Hossain told IBNS, "The incident is unfortunately true. Since last month, Hasin Jahan met me at my chamber few times and described the situation to me."
"Hasin Jahan has several evidences that her husband, renowned cricketer Mohammed Shami, is engaged in multiple extra-marital affairs. She also claimed that Shami has affairs with several girls and he had physical relations with few of them," advocate Md. Zakir Hossain added.
"Hasin Jahan also alleged that recently, after returning from South Africa, Shami assaulted her," said Md. Zakir Hossain. "I advised Hasin Jahan that she can take legal steps against her husband and she is now thinking to move to court against Shami."
However, no reaction regarding the social media post has been received from either Shami or his wife, Hasin Jahan, yet.
