Madhya Pradesh woman commits suicide after fight with husband over Aamir Khan's remarks

Jabalpur, Nov 27 (IBNS) In an unexpected twist of events, a woman has committed suicide in Jabalpore after a fight with her husband following an altercation over Aamir Khan's intolerance remarks.

Reports quoted police as saying that Ayank Pandey and his wife Sonal, residents of Lahri apartment, had a heated argument over Aamir Khan's intolerance remark which soon turned into a full fledged fight between the two.

Following the dispute, Sonal consumed poison and was rushed to hospital. She died during treatment despite the efforts of the doctors.

Kotwali police registered a case into the death and the body was sent for post mortem. The police started probing the matter by recording statements of the family.

During the Ramnath Goenka Awards for Journalism, Aamir Khan had said that despondency was on rise in the country in the past few months. The actor had also said that his wife Kiran Rao feared for her children and had suggested moving out of the country.
