Kolkata: Sex racket busted in Rajarhat, 16 arrested

Kolkata, Jan 4 (IBNS): The Bidhannagar City Police on Monday busted a sex racket in Kolkata's New Town area and booked 16 people, reports said.

According to reports, acting on a tip off, police from Rajarhat Police Station raided a hotel at New Town area and busted a sex racket. As many as 16 persons, including 9 men and 7 women, were arrested from the hotel.

Out of the 16 arrested, two are the staff of the hotel, reports said.

They would be produced to the Barasat Court.

The Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate earlier on Dec 21 busted a porn film production racket at Salt Lake DD Block  under Bidhannagar North Police Station area in Kolkata and nabbed at least 28 people, including actors and unit crews.
