Jet Airways flight halted at Ahmedabad after bomb threat call

Ahmedabad, Apr 20 (IBNS) A Jet Airways flight from Ahmedabad to Mumbai was halted on Wednesday morning following a threat call about a bomb on board, reports said.

The plane was taken to an isolated area at Ahmedabad's Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport.

All the passengers were deplaned and an extensive search of them and their baggage, besides cargo was carried out by security forces.

Reports quoted a Jet Airways spokesperson as saying that the search yielded nothing and the aircraft has been cleared for journey.
