India would do best in supplying Covid vaccines to Canada: PM Modi tells Justin Trudeau

New Delhi/IBNS: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday assured his Canadian counterpart Justin Trudeau that India would do its best to facilitate supplies of Covid vaccines sought by Canada.

Modi also informed that the two leaders agreed on collaborating on issues like climate change and revival of the global economy.

In a tweet, PM Modi wrote: "Was happy to receive a call from my friend @JustinTrudeau. Assured him that India would do its best to facilitate supplies of COVID vaccines sought by Canada. We also agreed to continue collaborating on other important issues like Climate Change and the global economic recovery."

India has emerged one of the world's top vaccine maker and an increasing number of countries are approaching it for procuring the drugs to prevent the deadly coronavirus.
