India, France are made for each other: PM Modi

Chandigarh, Jan 24 (IBNS): Calling India and France as 'made for each other', Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said the European nation can be India's important partner in innovation.

"In innovation also France can be an important partner for India," Modi said while addressing at the India-France Business Summit.

" India and France are made for each other. France has the resources, we have the need & the market," he said.

The Indian PM said 400 French companies working in India have had a positive experience of operating in the Asian nation.

Speaking on the issue of terrorism, the PM said, "India will stand shoulder to shoulder with France in the battle against terrorism."

Hollande reached India on Sunday.
