Hindu Mahasabha activists set ablaze Dawood's auctioned car

Ghaziabad, Dec 23 (IBNS): Activists of the Hindu Mahasabha in Indirapuram in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad district set ablaze a car once owned by underworld don Dawood Ibrahim on Wednesday.
The burning of the car was a symbolic targeting of terrorism, the Hindustan Times quoted Swami Chakrapani, the national president of All India Hindu Mahasabha, as saying.

“Earlier I wanted to convert the car into an ambulance, but when D-company’s (Dawood gang’s) henchmen threatened me to be ready to face the consequences, I decided to give a reply to him in his own language. I am going to torch it in full public view,” Chakrapani said.

The Hyundai Accent car, which once belonged to India’s most-wanted criminal Dawood Ibrahim, was sold for Rs 32,000 in Mumbai earlier this month.

The move was taken as authorities auctioned off a clutch of properties allegedly belonging to the don.
