Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar is responding well to treatment: Suresh Prabhu

New Delhi, Mar 24 (IBNS): Union Minister Suresh Prabhu on Saturday said Goa CM  and former Union Minister Manohar Parrikar is responding well to treatment in the U.S.

Manohar Parrikar is undergoing treatment for his disease in the US.

"Spoke to @manoharparrikar who is responding well to treatment in the US. Hospital.Wished him speedy recovery, early return home to lead Goa," Prabhu tweeted.

Parrikar was admitted in a New York-based hospital earlier this month with pancreatitis-related serious ailment, as officially stated by Goa Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) as reported by The Hindu.

Parrikar was admitted to the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai twice since Feb 15.

He was later taken to US for treatment.
