Four accused arrested in Begusarai serial firing incident

Patna: All four criminals who had unleashed terror by random serial firing in 30 Km length on National Highway 28 in Begusarai have been arrested.

Police said here on Friday that the mastermind of the incident Naga alias Keshav was arrested on the basis of his photograph from general compartment of Maurya Express at Jhajha railway station at around 3:00 A.M. Naga was trying to escape to Ranchi by train.

According to the source the police had earlier arrested another accused Sumit, Yuvraj and Arjun and on the basis of their interrogation Naga was also arrested .

Earlier, two motorcycle borne four criminals roamed freely in more than the 30 Km long stretch in Begusarai district on Tuesday evening firing serial gunshots randomly at the people and unleashed havoc in the district. Nearly 11 people had received the gun shots of whom one Chandan Kumar died on the spot.
