Foreign Secretaries of India, Pakistan to meet in August
The meeting will take place in Pakistan's Islamabad city.
"India-Pakistan Foreign Secretaries to meet on 25 August in Islamabad," Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin tweeted.
The move is a significant step forward in reviving stalled peace talks between the two neighbouring nations.
Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had visited India to attend Prime Minister Narendra Modi's oath taking ceremony here.
