EC to announce poll dates for Maharshtra, Haryana Assembly polls
New Delhi, Sep 12 (IBNS): The Election Commission (EC) is expected to announce poll dates for Haryana and Maharashtra Assembly election on Friday, sources said.
Maharashtra has as many as 288 Assembly seats and Haryana has 90 seats. The term of the Haryana and Maharashtra Assembly is set to end on October 27 and November 8 respectively.
Both the states are currently ruled by the Congress.
Elections are also slated to be held in Jammu and Kashmir and Jharkhand this year.
