Crime: CCB sleuths nab two pimps including a teenager from Tripura and rescue 2 girls from West Bengal

Bengaluru, May 8 (UNI) CCB Police have nabbed a two member gang, including a teenager, who had indulged in human trafficking and rescued two girls from West Bengal from the clutches of pimps.

Police said on Wednesday that during a raid last night it was revealed that the duo had hired a room in Hotel Shelton Manyatha Service Apartment and by bringing girls from various States promising good jobs forced them for prostitution.


The arrested were identified as Ganesh Prasad (37) and Samrat (18) native of Shagra Village, Radhakrishnapur PS, Gomati District, Tripura State.
Police have seized Rs 6000 cash and two mobile phones from the duo arrested.


Hennur Police have registered a case and investigating.
