Bodo militant kills girl in Assam, releases video

Guwahati, Aug 21 (IBNS) : A video released by the Bodo militants on Thursday showed the execution of a girl in Assam's Chirang district.

National Democratic Front of Bodoland (Sangbijit faction) had released the video of execution of the class ten student to avenge the killing of their five cadres by security forces.

They killed her for allegedly being an informer of the police.

According to reports, the Bodo militants killed the girl at Dwimuguri in Laimuti area under Runikhata police station in the BTAD district on Wednesday after security forces killed five hardcore militants including a top leader of the outfit group.

The militant group has called 24-hour Assam Bandh from 4 am of Aug 22 protest against the killing of their five colleagues.
